Measurement - Vernier Caliper
Aim:
To determine the volume of a cylindrical glass rod.

Apparatus:
- Venier Caliper
- 50 cm Rule
- Cylindrical Rod

Procedure: (Method should be in past tense)
- Close the vernier caliper with nothing between it and check for zero error.
- Place the cylindrical rod between the jaws of the vernier caliper, and record the main scale and vernier scale readings.
- Measure the length of the cylindrical rod using the 50 cm rule.
- Using the information obtain; Calculate the volume of the cylindrical rod.
